Learning outcomes:

The students will learn:

  • Structure and dynamics and analysis of hair and skin, Neurology and Angiology, Bacterology and disinfection, infection control and safety.
  • Functions and composition and the glands of the skin, types of skin and Chemisty.

Understand:
  • Skin disease and disorders of sebaceous glands and sudoriferous glands, pigmentation disorders and how to treat that with IPL treatments.
  • The circulatory system and the nervous system and how they affect the skin in relation to disorder of the skin.
  • The glandular system and its affect on the skin.
  • The principles of electricity and electrotherapy and how the equipment is operated.
  • Different kinds and brands of equipments available for treatments for scars and pigmentation, for photorejeuvanation, photofacial, acne and rosacea treatments, hair removal and electrolysis.
  • Electrolysis – the blend and thermolysis.
  • IPL and Laser equipment – their use and how to use them.
  • General treatment procedures including treatment of specific area.
  • Client consultation and developing a practice.
