Dear lovely Mrs. Chan;

Hello,

I trust that you and the family are all happy and healthy. I just looked at your new website, and it looks really wonderful!!! The school, now college, has grown so much since I studied there in 95. I am so happy for you!

I am well here; I just finished of my Masters in Public Health in 2009, and will start my PhD in September 2010. I now have 6 children! Eight, seven, and five year old boys, and girls who are four, two, and eight months old. They keep me busy but are a real joy!

I wish you all the very best for the future! If ever you are here in UK, I would love to see you! Take care and warm wishes,

Dr. Samantha Mustafa

"...And It's Like My Dream Came True"

by Eugenia - a BM Chan student

This is my story as a hairstylist:

Fourteen years ago I decided to become a hairstylist and I registered at one of the hairdressing schools in Vancouver.

I completed my course, of 1500 hours, in other school but I didn't have confidence in writing my government exam. At that time, I was pregnant with my second child.

I decided to become a full time mom and keep my options open for the future; I still wanted to become a licensed hairstylist.

After two years, I became pregnant again so my dream of being a hairstylist faded away. I really didn't have time for anything as I dedicated all of my time to my three children.

Now, after 14 years, and after my kids kind of grew up, I decided to go back to my dream of becoming a hairdresser.

I searched around for a school where I could take a refresher course and to present my exam afterwards. I couldn't find anything that could satisfy my goals until, one day, I looked on the Internet and found the perfect school for me, BM Chan International Cosmetology College.

It caught my attention that the students from the collegewon so many awards and trophies continuously; I decided to make an appointment with the director and owner of the school, Monita Chan

The first time I saw her, I knew that it was her who I wanted as my teacher; in the next few minutes I was already registering myself for that refresher course. Plus the fees were very very affordable. I was so happy!

After a few weeks, I presented my government exam and now I am fully licensed to practice my career. My dream finally came true. I have to thank Monita for this; she taught me everything I needed for my exam and was practically my teacher on individual basis. This is something that I appreciate so much because she did this from her heart. This is also something that is not about money but about their passion and love for their career. Thank you so much Monita!

At BM Chan, we understand that everyone is different; after all, that is what makes us unique. So if you have questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us. Better yet, join our Facebook group to see what others are saying
